What’s the value of your money?

There are three things you can do with the money you have: spend it, keep it, or make it work for you. If you spend it, it’s gone. If you keep it, it has no value until you spend it. But if you make it work for you, it can make your life easier and secure your future.

As you’ve visited our website, you’re probably thinking about ways to make your money work harder or more tax efficiently. If so, we may be able to help. Whether you’re interested in savings and investments, pension planning, mortgage advice, private health insurance, financial protection, or a comprehensive planning package, we can advise you in all these areas. But why choose Signet as your financial planner?

We’ve been helping people like you for over thirty-two years. This means we have solid experience and a deep understanding of how financial services can work for you. We’re a small company, which means we’re agile and can respond quickly to new legislation, market changes, and fresh opportunities. It also means you won’t encounter bureaucracy or have to navigate through layers of staff. You’ll talk to—and have direct access to—the person who can help you the most. They’ll get to know you, understand your needs, and work closely with you. They’ll ensure you receive the financial service that works hard for you and your money.

The team behind the success of Signet Financial Services

Simon Gordon, Founder  BSc, ACII, DipPFS, Certs CII (MP & ER)

I founded Signet because I have a genuine passion for people. I enjoy meeting them, discovering their aspirations, and assisting them in achieving their financial dreams. Despite being the Managing Director, the highlight of my day is knowing I've helped a client turn their financial goals into reality.

If you're curious about my professional qualifications, I am an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, hold an Advanced Diploma in Insurance, and am a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. I am a member of The Personal Finance Society, where I hold the Diploma DipPFS. Additionally, I am a member of the Equity Release Council and The Society of Mortgage Professionals.

With almost 47 years of experience in finance, I have witnessed numerous changes. Staying up-to-date—and ahead—of these changes occupies much of my day. When I do find time to relax, I usually enjoy cycling or listening to jazz while driving. There is something soothing about the open road that I find particularly calming.

Seema Katwa

I am a Compliance and IFA Administrator at Signet Financial Services, a role that demands a keen eye for detail. With over 16 years of experience in Wealth Management and Banking, and as a qualified Mortgage Adviser, Signet is the perfect fit for me. I thrive in the fast-paced environment, enjoy meeting client needs, and embrace the varied challenges—no two days are the same.

The only thing that could distract me is a good game of football, especially if Manchester United are playing!

Champa Varsani

With 15 years of experience in retail banking, I have transitioned to Signet Financial Services as a CeMAP-qualified Business Manager. This role presents new challenges and opportunities daily, invigorating my professional journey. I am passionate about the diversity of services we offer, and the unique solutions required to meet each client's specific financial needs.

In my personal life, I continually seek new challenges, exemplified by my skydiving experience. This adventurous spirit drives me to explore and push boundaries, both professionally and personally.
