What’s the value of your money?

There are three things you can do with the money you have. You can spend it, you can keep it or you can make it work for you. If you spend it, it’s gone. If you keep it, it has no value until you spend it. But if you make it work for you, it can make your life easier and look after you in the future.

As you’ve come to our website, you’re probably thinking about ways you can make your money work harder or more tax
efficiently. If so, we may be able to help you. If you’re interested in savings & investments, pension planning, mortgage advice, private health insurance, financial protection or a total planning package, we can advise you in all of those areas. But why should you choose Signet as your financial planner?

Well, we’ve been helping people like you for over twenty-five years. That means we have solid experience and a deep understanding of how financial services can work for you. We’re a small company which means we’re agile, so we respond quickly to new legislation, market changes and fresh opportunities. It also means that you won’t encounter bureaucracy or have to navigate your way through layers of staff. You’ll talk to - and have direct access to - the person who can help you the most. They’ll get to know you, understand what you need and work closely with you. They’ll make sure that you get the financial service that works hard for you and your money.

If you want to find out more about the financial services we can help you with, please browse our website. If you prefer to talk directly to someone who can help you, please call Simon Gordon on 020 8455 8555 or send him an

The team behind the success of Signet Financial Services

Simon Gordon, Founder  BSc, ACII, DipPFS, Certs CII (MP & ER)

I began Signet because I like people. I like meeting them, finding out what their aspirations are and then helping them to achieve their financial dreams. Even though I’m the Managing Director, the best part of my day is when I know I’ve helped a client to turn their financial aspiration into a reality.

If you’re wondering about my professional credentials, I’m an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, I hold an Advanced Diploma in Insurance and I’m a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. I’m a member of The Personal Finance Society where I hold the Diploma DipPFS. I am also a member of the Equity Release Council and of The Society of Mortgage Professionals.

I also have nearly forty years of experience in finance, so I’ve seen a lot of changes. Keeping up-to-date - and ahead - of those changes is what takes up a lot of my day. When I do relax it’s usually by cycling or listening to Jazz while driving my car. There must be something about the open road that I find soothing.

Seema Katwa

I am a Compliance and IFA Administrator at Signet Financial Services, which involves having a keen eye for detail. Having worked in Wealth Management and Banking for over 10 years and being a qualified Mortgage Adviser, Signet is a perfect match for me. I enjoy the fast pace of the work, meeting client needs and the varied challenges, no two days are the same.

The only thing that could distract me would be a good game of cricket!

Champa Varsani

I’m a Business Manager and Trainee Paraplanner at Signet Financial Services, which means that every day brings new challenges and opportunities. After working in retail banking for 15 years, this is an invigorating change! I love the diversity of the services we offer and how each client demands a unique solution to their particular set of financial requirements.
I also push myself to try new challenges in my personal life, which is probably why I jumped out of an airplane - with a parachute on, of course.

No need to take our word for the quality of our service, listen to what some of our clients have to say...
